3D Printing (FDM)
Every order is printed on our Bambu Lab P1S – a fully enclosed FDM printer chosen for its consistency and dimensional accuracy.
Suitable for engineering parts, product prototypes, hobby projects and small-batch production runs.
PLA
General Purpose
- General-purpose material with crisp detail and a wide range of colours
- Low warping, easy to print cleanly even on complex geometry
- Best for: prototypes, display models and low-stress parts
PETG
Tough & Functional
- Tougher and more impact-resistant than PLA, with better heat resistance
- Slight flexibility makes it more forgiving under load, compared to PLA
- Best for: functional parts, enclosures, brackets, parts exposed to moderate heat
ASA
Outdoor & UV Resistant
- UV and weather-resistant; holds colour and strength outdoors
- Good chemical and heat resistance
- Best for: outdoor housings, automotive parts, garden and marine accessories
3D Printing Information
- Typical lead time: 24–72 hours from quote approval to shipping
- Quality check: every part is visually inspected before it ships
3D Scanning
Scan Modes
High Speed Laser
Fast & Versatile
0.03mm accuracy
200–400mm range
- 30-line blue laser capture at up to 105 fps
- Handles shiny, flat or dark surfaces without scanning spray
- Best for: everyday parts and reverse engineering
Deep Hole Laser
Fine Detail
0.03mm accuracy
200–400mm range
- Single blue laser line for precision detail work
- Captures deep holes, grooves and complex geometry other modes miss
- Best for: threaded holes, recesses and intricate mechanical parts
Full-Field HD
Faces & Bodies
0.08mm accuracy
250–500mm range
- Infrared structured light, marker-free capture
- Up to 5 million points per second
- Best for: organic shapes, faces, figures and smooth surfaces
Outdoor / Rapid
Large Objects & Outdoors
0.10–0.20mm accuracy
300–800mm range
- Works in direct sunlight up to 100,000 lux
- Scans up to 800mm away at 30 fps
- Best for: large parts, people and outdoor or on-site scanning
Common use cases
- Reproducing a discontinued or hard-to-source spare part
- Digitising a physical prototype or model for CAD editing
- Inspecting a manufactured part against its original design intent
- Archiving tooling, heritage objects or artwork in 3D
CAD & Reverse Engineering
CAD Services
Reverse Engineering
Scan-to-CAD
2–7 Working day turnaround
- Converts a 3D scan into a fully editable, parametric model
- Rebuilds proper dimensions, fillets and features from raw scan data
- Best for: recreating a physical part in CAD for editing or manufacturing
CAD Design
Built From Scratch
STL
1–4 day turnaround
- Fully dimension-driven CAD models
- Built from a sketch, reference photos, or your own specification
- Best for: new product designs, custom brackets, jigs and fixtures
Design for 3D Printing
Print-Ready Optimization
STL, 3MF
1–3 day turnaround
- Adjusts wall thickness, overhangs and tolerances for reliable FDM printing
- Reduces supports and print failures on existing designs
- Best for: turning an idea or rough model into something that actually prints well
